Funding & Grants

Western Suburbs Tennis Club Committee Members work tirelessly throughout the year, applying for grants to continue improving and maintaining the club facilities and looking for ways to promote tennis to the community.

2024

Most recently the club was successful in obtaining a grant to upgrade the surface on all 8 courts.  The club wishes to thank the Queensland Government for its funding support in this venture.

Wests would like to thank Gambling Community Benefit Fund and the Townsville City Council for the provision of funds to upgrade the lighting inside the clubhouse.

Smart light fittings were installed that increase the security and functionality of the Club house while at the same time reducing our power consumption.
